NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION

LAGRANGE FIRE DISTRICT

DECEMBER 9, 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the LaGrange Fire District will take place December 9th, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM for the purpose of electing one Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing on January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030.

***Voting will take place at Firehouse #2 located at 504 Freedom Plains Road in Poughkeepsie, NY, for ALL Town of LaGrange residents. ***

All resident voters of the Town of LaGrange who are registered with the Dutchess County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025, shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for Fire Commissioner shall have filed their nominating petitions with the Secretary of the LaGrange Fire District, at the firehouse located at 504 Freedom Plains Road, no later than twenty days before the election, November 19th, 2025, by 5 pm. Nominating petitions must be subscribed by at least twenty-five (25) registered voters of the LaGrange Fire District and are available upon request from the District Office.
