Burn Ban Rescinded for Town of LaGrange
The Burn Ban for all of the Town of LaGrange has been rescinded – Rescind-Declaration-of-State-of-Emergency-Burn-Ban-2024.pdf as of December 5, 2024 at 12 pm.
Town of LaGrange Supervisor Alan Bell issues Declaration-of-State-of-Emergency-10.25.2024 – Burn Ban in effect until further notice due to severe drought conditions. New York State Department of Environmental Conservation have issued a Red flag warning for Hudson Valley. A Red Flag warning is a short-term, temporary warning, indicating the presence of a dangerous combination of temperature, wind, relative humidity, fuel or drought conditions which can contribute to new fires or rapid spread of existing fires. A Red Flag Warning can be issued at any Fire Danger level.
