NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LAGRANGE FIRE DISTRICT
2025 BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the LaGrange Fire District of the Town of LaGrange, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the LaGrange Fire District, for its consideration.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7 PM at Firehouse # 2, located at 504 Freedom Plains Road, Town of LaGrange, NY, on the 15^th day of October, 2024, and available for remote attendance via the video conferencing platform MS Teams (LFD Public Hearing – 2025 Budget).

Pursuant to Town Law §181.3(a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, and allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of, or against, the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for, or against, any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.

A copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Lagrange Fire District Secretary at LaGrange Firehouse #2, located at 504 Freedom Plains Road, where it may be reviewed by any interested person during office hours 9:00 AM to 5 PM.  A copy may also be obtained by emailing a request to secretary@lagrangefireny.us.
