On November 10th, at 3:13 p.m., the LaGrange Fire District and mutual aid Fire Departments Pleasant Valley, Union Vale, Roosevelt, New Hackensack and, Central Hudson Gas & Electric, responded to a large brush fire. The area of the incident was adjacent to and included a portion of the power line corridor running through Dutchess County. At this time the cause is still under investigation. There are no reports of injured firefighters or persons from the scene of this incident.

The LaGrange Fire District would like to thank all the responding personnel for their hard work and perseverance in containing this brush fire. As well as, those who made the 911 call.
